Maloe Melo Maloe Melo  Area: Leidseplein 
Maloe Melo is the home of the Blues.
Maloe Melo, on the Lijnbaansgracht, has live music every night of the week. Although it’s called a Blues Café, other music genres like Rock’n’Roll, Rockabilly, Soul, Funk and Punk also feature on the bill quite regularly. With free entrance most nights and a bar that stays open until the early hours, it’s a must for all music lovers.  
The Waterhole The Waterhole  Area: Leidseplein 
If you like your music live and rocking, you'll love The Waterhole! With their high-tech sound system and full acoustic insulation, they can really pump up the volume. There's live music every night, with different jam sessions from Sunday to Thursday and on Friday and Saturday, top local and international bands play live from 23:00. When the bands aren't playing, the bar staff have an extensive music collection at their fingertips, so let them know what you like and if you're nice, they'll crank the dial up to 11. 
Tig Barra Tig Barra  Area: Leidseplein 
Being a genuine Irish bar, (owner Ruan is from Dublin) you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome as soon as you walk into Tig Barra. The bar hosts regular jam sessions with local and visiting musicians, all major sports are shown on satellite TV and if you're feeling a bit peckish, Tig Barra has an extensive menu, with everything from snacks to full meals and the kitchen is open from eleven in the morning all the way through till ten at night, every day. 
Hotel Old Quarter Hotel Old Quarter  Area: Red Light District 
Friendly hotel bar on Amsterdam's famous Warmoesstraat with a live Jazz session every Monday, regularly featuring some of the best Jazz musicians in Holland. Starting in mid-October, there will be Karaoke every Friday and Saturday evening. Restaurant open 10:00 - 23:00, English breakfast served 'til 16:00. Big screen TV for the big sporting events.

Molly Malones Molly Malone's  Area: Red Light District 
Molly Malone’s is a great Irish pub close to Centraal Station that looks like a cavern. They've got everything for an enjoyable day or night out at Molly's: TV's for the live sport, an extensive menu ranging from a cheese roll to T-bone steak, a canal-side terrace and they have Live Music every Friday and Saturday evening. 
The End The End  Area: Red Light District 
Close to Centraal Station, The End is a great place to round off a good night out. Every night is Karaoke night from 22:00 and they stay open until long after most other bars have closed.
The Live Music returns in October, including jam sessions from 17:00 until 22:00.
