BARS WITH SPORT ON TV
Tig Barra Tig Barra  Area: Leidseplein 
Being a genuine Irish bar, (owner Ruan is from Dublin) you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome as soon as you walk into Tig Barra. The bar hosts regular jam sessions with local and visiting musicians, all major sports are shown on satellite TV and if you're feeling a bit peckish, Tig Barra has an extensive menu, with everything from snacks to full meals and the kitchen is open from eleven in the morning all the way through till ten at night, every day. 
Flying Dutchman Flying Dutchman  Area: Nieuwendijk 
Friendly, down-to-earth Brown Café close to Centraal Station. Popular with Manchester United fans, but the American owner Willie and his staff have a warm welcome for everybody. The Flying Dutchman has three TV's capable of showing most satellite and cable channels, plus darts and a pool table downstairs. 
London Bridge London Bridge  Area: Nieuwendijk 
English pub with a Big Screen and a couple of TV's showing Sky Sports and Sport1 channels, so it's possible to watch any Premiership or Champions league match. Good selection of food and snacks, terrace and they're open from 9am, so it's a great place to get a Full English Breakfast before a hard day of watching cricket on TV.  
Old Highlander The Old Highlander  Area: Nieuwendijk 
The Old Highlander, the only Scottish bar in town, is one of Amsterdam's hidden gems. The bar staff give everybody a warm welcome, no matter what your nationality. If there's no Scottish football on TV, they'll gladly show any other sport you like. Good food available too, like fish & chips and pies.
Closed on Mondays.  
The Globe Hotel The Globe  Area: Red Light District 
The Globe has one of the biggest bars in the Red Light District, and it's 24 hours a day! There's a restaurant that serves English or American breakfast and also lunch or dinner.
But that's not all. Hotel The Globe is best known for its sports cafe. You can view all major sport events (like the Super Bowl, N.F.L., N.B.A., Premier league, etc.) on 9 T.V.'s and 2 bigscreens.

Molly Malones Molly Malone's  Area: Red Light District 
Molly Malone’s is a great Irish pub close to Centraal Station that looks like a cavern. They've got everything for an enjoyable day or night out at Molly's: TV's for the live sport, an extensive menu ranging from a cheese roll to T-bone steak, a canal-side terrace and they have Live Music every Friday and Saturday evening. 
Café Newcastle Bar Newcastle Pub  Area: Red Light District 
Café Newcastle Pub has been on these premises for a couple of years now. It used to be something else. We’re not joking, it used to be a bar/coffee-shop called “Something Else”. But since Andy took over, he has really turned it into something else. It’s a fun pub now, where you are actively encouraged to have a good time.
Where you are asked for your favourite music, and they’ll play it.
Where they want to know if you want to see something in particular on their big screen, and they’ll turn it on for you. 
Stone's Café Stone's Cafe  Area: Red Light District 
The Stone's Café is the original all dancing, sports, smoking, English/Dutch bar that many have tried to copy over the years, but they are the original and proud of it. With a strong emphasis on the international appeal of good music and beer, served by friendly staff in cosy surroundings, you will feel at home no matter where you are from. All major sporting events are shown live on multiple flat screens and they also serve cooked breakfasts, have a pool table, gorgeous bar staff and a terrace which is at the centre of all the action in the red-light district. 
Susie's Saloon Susies Saloon  Area: Red Light District 
Susie's Saloon is a spacious, smoker friendly, canal-side bar with a great terrace, friendly staff and happy hour every day from 16:00 until 18:00. Sports fans are well catered for with 5 TV's hooked up to multiple satellite and digital receivers to bring you just about any sporting event. Popular with rugby and horse racing fans, but they can also show up to three Premiership or Champions League matches at the same time. If you get hungry, English breakfast, subs, burgers & sandwiches are served 'til 15:00 and tostis are available all day. 
Coco's Outback Coco's Outback  Area: Rembrandtplein 

Sports fans are well catered for in Coco's Outback: The place is huge, but wherever you sit, you're never too far away from one of the two Big Screens or the 15 TV's that are everywhere. If there's anything you'd like to watch, just ask the bar staff. If it's on, they'll show it; if the bar is closed when it's on, they'll tape it for you (if you ask nicely).
Coco's are famous for their unlimited ribs &/or chicken and the biggest burgers in town, but the menu has got something for everybody.
